A natural monument of regional significance, located in the Oktyabrsky district of the city of Samara. One of the trust in Russia and the oldest botanical institutions on the Middle Volga.

Zhigulevsky State Natural Biosphere Reserve
A nature reserve located on Samarskaya Luka, in the Samara region. The total area of the reserve is 23,157 hectares (of which 542 hectares are located on the Volga Islands). A protective zone of 1132 hectares is established around the reserve.
